Daddy Why

Are people fighting ? Humm, fighting where baby girl ? On tv daddy. Honey there is a war going on and that's what people do when the go to war. Why are we at war daddy ? Because some bad people did some bad things to good people and many innocent people got killed and hurt. Now this is coming from a 5 year old. Were you in a war daddy ? She has seen my Army photos and is a very smart baby girl. Yes honey I have been in a war. Tell me about it daddy. Please. What in the blue hell does one say when ask that by his 5 year old daughter?
Does he say , well darlin it all started back in 1978 when some crazes stole over 400 American citizens and we allowed them to get away with it. Then in 1983 they blew up and killed people in a US Embassy in Beirut Lebanon, or it gets better later in 1983 when they blew up and killed people in the US Marine Barracks in the same city. Now sweetie lets not forget the 1988 bombing of the Scotland Pan Am flight to New York. That was a good one for them. Woah baby girl I had forgotten about the 1st World Trade center bombing in 1993 that went over real good. Anything done about it , nope nadda..They just kept bombing buildings, ships. Then in September of 2001 they went all out and flew airplanes into the World Trade Center again and then for good measure they flew a plane into the Pentagon just a few miles from here and killed more people and one of them was our next door neighbor. This time they went too far and the people had all they were going to take. Do I say that from 1978 until now that over 7000 that's seven thousand people have been killed by terrorist attacks worldwide. Baby girl listen to this, Presidents Carter,Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton and Bush 2 Did nothing. Can you believe this. Not a party in power did a thing until the people took all they would take and demanded that they be safe in their country.
